 Monster Contract Changes
« Thread Started on Dec 27, 2005, 6:28pm »

There have been many suggestions and/or disgruntlyments of late concerning the Monster Contracts. So the system has been revamped.

Now you purchase a Monster Contract Token from the vendor. You double click it and then select the level of contract you desire. There are 6 levels. Newbie Level is critters as tough as mongbats and headless ones. Grand Master Level is Ancient Dragon and other critters of the same toughness. So now you can decide the level you want.

Be aware, the Monster Contract Tokens have a life of 4 hours. You must double click it and select your contract level before 4 hours passes else the Token will decay. This timer was added to cut down on storage of this un stackable item.

Now that you have the option to select the level of contract you recieve, there is now a cost to cancel your contracts. If you choose to cancel the contract, you will recieve back 30 gp.

There were about 30 critters on the contracts in the past version. There are now over 60 different critters. (thanks Botnick for the list of critters)

I hope these changes will answers some of the concerns brought up lately about the Monster Contracts.

Please help out by using the Contract Books. The books hold 15 contracts. The books will go into the Runebook Pouch. The Runebook Pouch holds up to 25 books of RuneBook, SOSBook and Contract Book. Great help to keep your backpack neat.

As with any large change, we may run into a few bugs. Let staff know if you find one. There may be a few minor change in the near future.
