New Mystical Lantern Quest
A new quest as been added to Paradise Found as part of the new Rare Hunting/Stealing system. Rares can now only be located using a Mystical Lantern, the reward from Teague the Brigand’s Quest. Teague can be found in Haven, near the lighthouse.
Simply keep the Mystical Lantern in your pack as you explore and travel the land, when you get close enough to a rare it as a chance to be revealed to you by the magic of this Mystical Lantern.
On the down side, the Mystical Lantern as a limited life, once you acquire it, it will decay in 7 days. Also, revealing a rare item drain all the energy from it, in other words, once you reveal a rare with it, it will vanish.
Some technical information
You need at least 100.0 in Stealing to have any chance of successfully stealing a rare. If you don’t have 100.0, hit the training oasis.
Rare spawners have time delays so a player can’t camp a spawn and collect the same item over and over. Delays vary from hours to days and even weeks depending on the quality of the item.
It’s possible to pass a spawn without triggering it for many reasons; because the timer isn’t expired, because you didn’t pass close enough, because there’s simply a chance it will not trigger. This is in place to keep interest up, after all, if you put in the time to find the rares you want it to have some value, not a shard flooded with them.
Spawners can and will be moved by staff without notice and for no reason except the fact that hunting for rares should be the main goal. We see no point in stealing the same item in the same location over and over. Paradise Found is constantly evolving and constantly in motion.

Words of wisdom to the rare hunters:
When hunting for rares with the Mystical Lantern, move slowly. The rares are revealed with audio and visual effects but if your running you might not notice you have revealed a rare and will need to look for it.
Hunt with 1 lantern at a time in your pack, steal the rare you revealed and get a new lantern. If you have more then one in your pack you run the chance to loose them all as you walk in and out of range looking for the rare you revealed.
Revealed rares will not stay revealed for a long periode of time. The better you are at stealing an item, the better the chances youll steal it before its gone.
