 Paradise Found Auction House

Introducing the Paradise Found Auction House

Auctions will be held on Saturdays at 2 PM Server Time

Responsible for the auction Botnick, Draque and Marie-Ange

Location: Paradise Found Auction House, accessible in the Event Area

How it works…

If you are a seller

Each item you are selling must be placed in a bag.

The bag should be labeled with the seller’s name.

The bag should contain a book with the sellers name and the starting asking price.

If you are selling combined items (like a full suit of armor) then the items should be placed in a bag inside the main bag.

Bags with the item for sale should be put in the drop box at the Auction House before the beginning of the event. Once in the drop box the items are safe and only shard staff as access to it. Items placed later will be auctioned the following week.

Items for auctions cannot be taken back by sellers until the auction is completed.

If the seller forgets to identify properly the bag and the book, the item will be lost. So before dropping your bag at the Auction House, make sure everything is in order.

If an item is not sold it will be returned to the seller at the end of the auction.

When the auction is completed the Auctioneers will pm each seller to collect the unsold items or the money from the items that sold.

If you are a buyer

Come to the auction house at the auction starting time.

Players are asked to remain seated and keep the chatter to a minimum so the auctioneers can see all the bids.

When an item is auction, players can say their bids, highest bid wins the auction.

The winner of the auction will be asked to come to the front, make a check for the proper amount and collect the items right away.

This will be on a trial base only. If the event runs well and players are happy we can make it a permanent feature of Paradise.

Woot! A real auction with real bidding by people who can bid back and forth against each other. I know it's a lot more work for you, the GMs of the shard, but it seems a sane and reasonable alternative to the previous auction we had set up.... at least until there's a way for RunUO2.0 to handle the scripting for it.

Good job, Haaz and Bot! :D
