Do you have some graphics skill? And more importantly, do you want to help your favourite shard? Now it is your time!
Paradise Found has declared a contest for "New Paradise Found banner".
Look at our website, for the old banner may be a help for you. Rules of this contest is qiute simple: you have to design two versions of banners:
One 700 x 120 for for PF website and PF forum.
A smaller one for the shard voting site just in case we do make the top 10. The smaller size needs to be 468 x 60.
The looks of banner may be what you would like, but it should be brighter than our current banner and it should reflect life on paradise - propably feature, that you pesonally like the most.

Are we allowed to submit just one banner for each or can we submit multiple banners?

Let me say a few things before everyone runs off creating.
If you look at our Web and the Forum background, you get a clue as to the coloring that I like. Colors that are inviting, not harsh with looks of death and destruction. I want people that are looking for a nice shard with nice players to get that idea right off. Black and blood red does not saw "Safe and Enjoyable" to me.
If art is not original, make sure it is public domain so we do not have copyright infringement.
You may submit as many as you like.
Haazen, that's me, will be making the decision as to what is used. I can be influenced by public opinion and money. But I will pick what I like. If I do not select one does not mean it is not good. It just means it was not what pleased me the best. What pleases me can not be explained. Just like you can not tell me why you like strawberry icecream more than sardines.
This is Paradise Found. This is not Instant Death and Dismemberment. So If the banner shows ancient dragons tearing the guts out of a new player it will not be selected as our banner. I like pleasing pastel colors for our site. I like friendly looking ,pet like dragons. I like hansom warriors and pretty damsels. Or pretty warriors and hansom damsels if you prefer.

My first thought that comes into my mind after I saw the contest is "I'm going to make a banner with Haazen's picture!!!"
But my second thought is "And I'm going to get banned for sure" so I think I should come up with something else instead.
Just joking... but maybe it'd be nice, who knows

Nice job, Al! I like the cool blues and greens myself.
Can the graphics be animated or do they have to be still? I know .gif is an acceptable graphic, but it does require more kb than a .jpg or .bmp would.
