Do the custom skins work with the new client or do we have to go back to the old cruddy UO skin?

Having the same problem as Oki, I think there needs to be a definitive post on this (there is an outdated one stickied). I have installed and patched and updated hues per the instructions above and had to uninstall Razor. I reinstalled the latest all in one and now I am getting the error. Made the uo.reg file and checked directories and still not working. EDIT: Also note that I spent half a day getting the new client installed and patched and really don't want to re-download from OSI and do it all again. I barely have time to play these days

Also, how do I even get the Razor 'Welcome Screen' thing to come up? I had to uninstall the old one because it wouldn't let me change anything or give me a welcome screen and now this new one won't even get me past the errors.

It starts by giving me a CliLoc error then an error saying that "Razor was unable to locate and load a suitable UO cliloc file, then I get another error stating with a big red X "Unable to launch the client specified. (Error: UNKNOWN_ERROR) TwoD: "-null-" and then it shuts razor down. It's an issue with your Windows Registry where there isn't specified your UO client. You have to do this: - create a new file, call it "uo.reg" - edit it (open it with text editor, notepad, wordpad etc...) - copy this inside: If you have Windows XP or before, or Vista/7 32 bit: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0] "ExePath"="C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\client.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client" "PatchExePath"="C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\uo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes"
If you have Windows XP 64bit or Vista or 7 64bit: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Origin Worlds Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0] "ExePath"="C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\client.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client" "PatchExePath"="C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\uo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes"
NOTE: this considers you have the UO client installed in C:\Program Files\EA Games\Ultima Online 2d Client\. If this is not your case, edit paths according to where do you have installed your UO client. - save the file - doubleclick it. Agree to add infos in System Registry This should work. Alternatively, uninstall UO client and reinstall it again (NOT "download it and extract in folder", but download the installer from OSI and run it) This works but when making the uo.reg file you need to make two slashes everywhere there are only one \\... Like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Origin Worlds Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Origin Worlds Online\Ultima Online\1.0] "ExePath"="C:\\Games\\Electronic Arts\\Ultima Online Classic\\client.exe" "InstCDPath"="C:Games\\Electronic Arts\\Ultima Online Classic" "PatchExePath"="C:\\Games\\Electronic Arts\\Ultima Online Classic\\uopatch.exe" "StartExePath"="C:\\Games\\Electronic Arts\\Ultima Online Classic\\uo.exe" "Upgraded"="Yes"
Again, make sure your directory is correct but important to use the \\ instead of only one \.

After logging in and checking if the server has been upgraded yet, I noticed the MOTD said to goto 7.0.11.4? (I think that's right?)
I've been trying to patch it and I can get to 7.0.11.3, but it won't go any higher for me. It just keeps saying there was an error and you may or may not be able to play with this client etc etc etc.
I can logon and everything fine, but I'm not sure if I need to go higher than the 7.0.11.3 as it says a different number on the PF website than what the MOTD says. Perhaps someone could make sure both are the same so that it will alleviate any confusion when people go to patch? :S

To get your client to patch higher I believe you need to put your original "hues.mul" back into your main uo dir then update then put back your PF hues.mul. At least it worked for me.
To get the razor welcome screen to show back up. start razor then open razor (it will be running in background even before logging into UO) It amy also be hidden in your status bar than under general tab checkmark the "show welcome screen"

To who's getting still the Cliloc issue: please consider the Razor All In One is an OUTDATED version and it won't work. You have to grab the latest Razor from the RunUO website (1.0.12). Then, if you still have the Cliloc Not Found issue, you have to put registry keys in Regedit (see posts above). If you have Vista/7 and you don't know which architecture is your system (32 or 64 bit), go to Control Panel -> System and read at System Type (just below RAM). Llyander is correct about the double slash, I'm going to edit the post If all else fails, the cleanest alternative is to uninstall UO and to reinstall it.Hope this helps... post here or PM me if you still have issues.

got most of update working except in game, razor generates an error about accessing the macro folder, which is in Razor folder and it wont run the macro in game.
how can I fix this.
I also had to use new razor with new client.
Tried new client with old razor and it never connected to the server. No errors just hung there after entering PW. and double checked all settings/ports etc.

Try now... Besides, I think Damara's instructions can lead to mistake... if you are going to "create a new folder called Paradise7011" and extract it, this means when you INSTALL UO, you have to set that folder, NOT that you install first then you move every file there, otherwise the Cliloc Issue is guaranteed! And I insist: the procedure to connect to Paradise would be MUCH EASIER, if the patched hues.mul is distributed through ConnectUO2.

Easiest thing for me was, the new one installed to a new folder, I had to leave old one where it was because that one is reqistered with windows & there Razor finds the cliloc. I think I'll copy all the files from new into the old folder & see what happens....
