Hail and well met fellow travelers, My name is Korundgen. Many years ago i was born in the imagination of a rather odd fellow in Montana. He placed me in a world called Toril where I was, without much recollection, raised to manhood and left the city of Ten Town with my parents blessing for the city of Waterdeep. My partner at the time a Joenapictal Walthersthrap set forth in my mighty battle wagon with a load of scrimshaw carvings done by Sevrim the Bard, he is sure you have heard of him. With quarterstaff, longbow, and lifelong friend. Many adventures were had threw those large wild lands new friends made some tragically lost. The party of the Purple Worm they were known as the Giant Mage and his Taxidermist companion, I should clarify that in that time I never ceased the pursuit of arms, but Magecraft was my calling. Some may say I was a mighty hero, myself I believe it is my height, born with a disease later found out some called giantism I grew to a mighty height in my years topping out at seven foot five inches. Not until a cleric I believe his name was... nope cannot recall, well needless to say after this battle with some lichlords pet mummies a cure disease was placed upon me and to this day I have not grown. Let us move threw a few other Incarnations of mine. There were years where over and over i would slay this beast known as Diablo. I led many different races to galactic victory and destruction of the Anterans. But lately and in the distant past I adventured forth from cities such as Skara Brae, or Britain on many a different, shard i began to call them. At a severe disadvantage for in this world I feel mud hampers my every step. I have tried the friendly philosophy on my journeys. I shall try and continue my story soon let me just leave you with a picture of my long time friend and I as we run of for new adventures in this land I hope to call home. Fare thee well travelers, Korundgen

Ah the friendly way, essentially useless on the other similar worlds I have lived on. My main defense against the murderers that would cross my path was a cheery "Hail" then usually before I can speak on I would begin stumbling around poisoned trying to defend myself against their speed. Escape was never an option when your opponent can run literal circles around you. I became an expert at adventuring where others were unlikely to be, to conduct my business far from the more traveled path. The life of a hermit in worlds full of potential friends and companions. So sad my life had become. I finally had had enough there was no more joy in Muddville for me, I took a final stab at locating a world I could enjoy with folks of similar temperment and if I was destined to fail so be it I would become a superhero in Paragon City and waste my time grinding away against villains. But no what is this land I have run across Paradise Found could this be an omen, could it be true, I will go into this land with the same optimism I always bring. Still my heart has been blackened with the fires of betrayal so often I can only hope I can regain the outgoing ways of my past and not regress into my hermit lifestyle I have led these many years past. When next I come to this Forum I will try and bring with me a more interesting tail maybe how we got the name of our old band The Party of the Purple Worm, or a tale from these new lands of Paradise.
May all your dreams come true as long as they have no harm for me or mine in them, Korundgen

What a fun day I had. Waking up in the hotel this morn I caught a glimpse of myself in my piecemeal armor. "This cannot be, I look like a vagabond." My priorities suddenly changed I had been working so hard training with quarterstaff and magery I had completely forgotten my appearance. I would head strait away to the vendor hall where the other folk of this land sell there wares. Leaving the Inn I swear I heard the innkeeper snicker as I walked out the door. Finally aware of my appearance I ran with all my speed, which as I mentioned before is not that great, to the to the bank where the portal is near. "Ah good nobody is here." I ran into the portal and was teleported strait away to the vendors. as I browsed I saw many a thing I wanted but finally found what I needed a mighty suit of armor and a very fine Kimono to place over it. Now that I look more the part maybe I will try and complete this quest I was given in the graveyard. To wind I shall go, but first I shall hire a medic to aide me on my journey. And the lady I hired was as competent as one could ask for. We headed for the city of wind a dangerous place, to search out Merlin. As soon as I entered I was set upon by 2 fierce harpies and an even mightier stone harpy. The battle was short and in my favor unfortunately my shield was destroyed, never one to give up I grabbed my new staff, Mondains Staff, which I had purchased earlier. I finally felt complete with quarterstaff in hand I marched of to seek out merlin. The park of Wind was full of mighty monsters the likes of which I have never faced. I made my way to merlin with the security of having newly been resurrected, stinking blood elemental, and he spoke of a key holder I must defeat. After many attempts at this which ended in my demise. I quickly explained to merlin that I would have to attempt this again at a later date. Merlin seemed to understand and bid me to gain in power soon so I could aide him at a later date. maybe next time I see my friend the Seed Of Sorrow we could complete this quest together. I stayed in the park battling the other beasts that dwell there and gained much experience to help me in later battles with this key holder. Now how to escape this place I fought my way back to the entrance, what is this I cannot escape this place there must be a secret way out after consulting my map I was in just as bad of shape as before because my mapmaker had failed to mark the exit. What could I do I called out into the darkness for aide and the kind folks of Paradise came to my aide showing me the exit which I believe I shall never forget the location of again. I went strait to the bank where i placed my booty and to tired to run all the way back to the inn I lay down on a handy bench and within moments was sound asleep. Goodnight friends sweet dreams, Korundgen

Well met friends and fellow adventurers, It has been some time since I last spoke of my adventures here in Paradise Found. Unfortunately the one who looks upon me as his avatar in this realm has failed to use his magical portrait creator due to his horrid memory, and many of my adventures have been lost to all but me. Such as the day I met a new friend who took me on a journey threw Destard where I, in my slow way, aided him in the slaying of one of the most foul Ancient Worms. Then going deeper we killed many a lich lord and gained mighty treasures. What an amazing day that was. My new friend even gifted me with an awesome ethereal Ki-Rin to enhance my speed. The Seed of Sorrow and I have adventured many times since last I spoke also. Defeated many an ogre lord we did. And made a fortune in gold. Unfortunately I have a weakness a terrible weakness for gambling. My fortune gone I have vowed to never gamble again, then after gaining more gold I had to vow this once again, and well a couple more times I also vowed this. I had a plan that if I ever met the mighty Lord Haazen I would beg of him to ban me from this evil realm of gambling. Unfortunately I completely forgot my goal when I was lucky enough to meet him. Oh well as long as the one who thinks he controls me avoids casinos in his realm I think we shall be OK. My friend the Seed o' Sorrow shall have to carry all our gold from now on for I cannot be trusted. *Shakes head sadly* So weak we are my controller and I. But what ya gunna do. One thing I have learned after all these years of foolishness is that you cannot give up on yourself Have faith that somehow it will work out as it is supposed to.I am hoping the next time the Seed and I are together we shall have a great and heroic story to tell, alas this is one of foolishness on my part. Sorry Seed of Sorrow I will try and be better but do not count on it. Well everyone take care and be stronger then I. Korundgen

Hello Everyone, Hmmm JennyLin just modifying post to say hello :-) Now on with the story. Putting aside my gambling was not easy but a house was needed for me and Seed to keep our things and the hotels, well very nice, just miss something. That something is the sense of wellbeing a home provides. I am not greedy all I ever wanted was a small tower but the 70,000 needed to build it was not easy to acquire. Working as a team The Seed Of Sorrow and I went to the dragon caves of Destard to do battle and gain loot from the vile Dragons that reside there. I learned the art of cartography and lock picking in order to open the chests there and the many treasure maps we had acquired. Ah T-Maps those are fun and inside of them we have found many a great treasures to aid us in our adventures. Skill balls and mighty scrolls allowing us to increase our abilities beyond the maximum. Eventually we were able to save the needed gold, and bought our tower. In time we purchased from the player vendors of you wonderful folks the furniture decorations and items sought to fill our tower with the things we needed. Now I am so happy and would like to share a painting of "Korundgens Instant Fortress" with you all. If you happen by and we are home please stop by and say hello. Have a great day and may you all find the treasures you seek. Korundgen

Aloha Friends and Fellow Adventurers, I have not played much lately due to filthy working two jobs so I thought I would tell you the story of the purple worm.
Joenapictal and I were traveling to the city of wonders Waterdeep far south of our home in the barbaric north. Adventurers and merchants were our dreams at that young age, and of course Joe wanted to start a museum where he could use his mighty taxidermy skills to bring monsters safely to a city near you and of course make a fortune in ticket sales.
Well one day as we were passing near a small village we of course stopped in at the local watering hole and had us a few too many glasses of ale and somehow during that night had sworn to destroy a massive purple worm that lived a bit away from the village. It did not really bother anyone there so no one was going to pay us. They were smart enough to leave it be. But alas we promised and Joe could not get the gleam out of his eyes at the thought of a taxidermied purple worm.
Being young and brave and not all that smart we parked the wagon in a thicket near the cave it resided in, gathered our adventure gear and weapons and crept into the dark. After a brief trip back to the wagon to get the lanterns we began our search. Fortune smiled upon us for we soon heard the rumbling of movement in the tunnels. It almost seemed as if it were coming nearer almost like it was moving at great speeds.....RUN!!! It came streaking at us this massive purple wall of teeth that was its head, front who knows. We immediately turned and fled this is why I say fortune smiled on us the entrance was still near.
The great worm fortunately did not wish to leave its cavernous home. We waited in our little grove of trees for hours as it flailed its front portion out of the cave man that thing was big. But a promise is a promise even if the village did not really care if we stopped the purple worm or not. We began our next preparations for the next attempt this time we would use our brains.having many things in our wagon we prepared the next day we snuck into the entrance to set up our little surprise and we were lucky the worm did not sense us this time.
Joenapictal waited at the entrance a lit torch in hand as I went into the caves alone armed with my trusty staff and my own lit torch. once I got near where we first heard the worm I made a racket that even an Ogre Lord would be proud of but nothing I continued for a while and as a reward I heard the beast approaching. The reason I went in is because I am way faster then Joe as I approached the entrance our surprise was put into action.
The mouth of the cave now sprouted scores of wooden spikes with leather flasks of oil tied to the tips strands of oil soaked cloth reaching to the ceiling and more flasks with caltrops fastened to puncture up there. I waited a few seconds as the worm got closer then ran sticking my torch to the oily traps we had devised as Joe lit two trenches we had dug down the sides of the passage also filled with oil. The mighty purple worm following at breakneck speeds crashed into this inferno ripping itself and the flasks open as it hurled toward me I ran Joe ran the worm slithered or whatever worms do. Flames erupted from the caves mouth and so did the worm, well most of it much was left behind in flaming tatters its cry rang out for miles as did Joe's when he realized the damage we had done to the hide.
We scavenged the teeth which there were many and Joe pouted until I said he could decorate the wagon with them at least that was something saved. The village threw us a huge party and we gave teeth to everyone. Later we painted our "2" wagons,we bought another, purple and became known as the Party of the Purple Worm. Well thats my story and I am sticking to it.
Thanks for listening Your Friend, Korundgen

Welcome back to the world of connection Not sure if you've been reading posts here on the forum or not, but Haazen now has a dynamic address for PF shard. If you use Razor to connect, in the IP address, put: paradisefounduo.dyndns.org port: 2593. That should get you connected, all things being what they should be anyway If you are running Windows Vista OS, you'll need to double check that you have all the .net framework patches (in order: 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0) since Razor uses the 1.1 patch, OSI uses 2.0 patch, and 3.0 is just so your internet connection is secure from hackers (as much as possible). If you need the patches for the .net framework, Haazen has kindly provided a link on the website under Links. Website home page URL is: www.paradisefounduo.com/Good luck, and I hope you're able to get back in soon.
