Today the Dr. put me on meds for type 2 diabetes. Said I'm to eat 6 small meals a day. Anyone out there have any good recipes I can try?

Thanks Damara! Those should help a lot! Now I just need to figure out what all these glucose numbers mean on my tester! I don't know yet if the numbers are good or bad! I'm really having a heck of a time giving up pasta and potatoes. Also going from basically 1 large meal a day to 6 small ones. I've not yet been able to do that. I'm lucky to get in 4-5.

80 to 120 is normal level range when you do your glucose test. 6 meals a day...really? Argh. Not sure that would be possible if working a 40hr wk. I'd have issues giving up soft drinks like my Coke.

www.wholefoodsmarket.com/ is where a guy at work buys glucose free items for his diet, they have alot of food you can get and a recipe section .. I'm sure you have found lots of places but if your bored you might find something new.
