gains on this skill are slow going, does anyone have any tips? or is this just a painfully slow gaining skill?

i seem to have gotten the hang of it, it really is just a painfully slow skill, i've been told that high karma plays a part, so i've got it up to full. here is the easyuo script i've written to train it. just plop yourself in the middle of the player vendor area and hit play. takes advantage of the rather large wait time needed before begging again to get to another npc so no time is waisted. will also permanently ignore any npc it can't reach to beg.
chooseskill Begg top: if #skill = #skillcap halt finditem HS_IS if #findcnt = 0 { ignoreitem reset 1 goto top: } set #ltargetid #findid set #ltargetkind 1 event pathfind #findx #findY #findZ wait 8s finditem #findid if #finddist > 1 event pathfind #findx #findY #findZ wait 5s finditem #findid if #finddist > 1 { ignoreitem #findid 2 goto top: } event macro 13 6 target 4s event macro 22 wait 5s ignoreitem #findid 1 goto top:
happy groveling!

oh there is one? i guess i forgot to check. the one on the paradise website says it takes about 12 hours to gm, which is around what this took, although i didn't realize there was an area for training begging. on a side note this script will work there as well since it is set up to pick a random npc beg from that one, and ignore it until there are none left to beg from
