This is one my mom cooked most of my life. Out for a picnic or a camping trip, nothing goes with hamburgers or hot dogs so well. Ain't too bad a a pile of ribs either. And very easy to make.
1 lb hamburger 3 lb pork and beens in tomato sauce 2 C chopped onion 1/4 tsp salt 1 C ketchup 2 Tbs yellow mustard 2 tsp cider vinegar 1/2 C brown sugar firmly packed
I also add 1/2 C good hot picante sauce before baking. My mom did not.
Brown the hamburger and onion. Drain. Add all the rest of the goodies and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
I have had folks over for dinner and some end up filling up on the side dish and not touching the main course. These are some good beans.
