My current stat base is 150/150/40. With my equipment I have 300/262/128. I have +4 str over 300, so I was going to change my base stats to 146/150/44.
My question is does dex have a bonus for effects on anything once it's over 200? It's my impression that the calculations top bracket is 200+. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I could then also drop my base dex to raise my int.
I'm tired of being a dummy.

Dex over 200 is a waste since you can not have healing under 2 seconds and can not swing under 1 second with any weapon.

Dex over 200 means a larger pool of Sta, which means you can loose more sta before suffering a degridation in your weapon speed, that's about all I can think of. Personally, I'm finding a total dex >150 to be redundant as I have plenty of Sta Bonus items, and heal with spells/potions much better than with bandaids. (PS I wrote an easyUO script that can tell you how much Sta you need for your weapon/SSI. It's in the tools section. Most donation weapons hit speed cap at around 20-30 sta. >.< Dex is not very desirable in that case - lol.)

I agree with that decameron, but I think that's because there is an added delay, however small, for razor to run through the macro. Most of my macroing for skill gain had quicker pauses than the 10s skill timer because of that.

The max value for dex is 300, you might mean Stamina?

just the other day i saw damara mentioning healing going even faster after you hit 400 dex, but ofcourse i have yet to test this out I think what I had said was stratics doesn't give another break until you're over 400, which is kind of useless since I don't know anyone over 400 dex here. The shard's scripting says the maximum raw stat on any of the stats is 150. You can have attribute bonuses through spellcrafted armor, weapons, jewelry, clothing, etc., that can raise it to 300. There are some items that will take the associated attribute (HP for strength, stamina for dex, and mana for intel) over that 300 cap, but having 320 HP doesn't mean you have 320 strength. I don't have 400+ dex on my player character, so it's difficult to test that theory of whether 400+ dex means a lower healing time. I think my player's dex is 250 with arbalest which allows me just under a 2 second healing time (1.75 is what it's set for). That's my best and all I can test with. If anyone has 400+ dex and cares to test healing times, we'd love to hear the resulting healing time with 400+ dex. My character's base stats are 145/145/35 and the rest are all bonuses from equipment.
