Greetings, as we are near to update, I have noticed a lot of people use UO AutoMap (UOAM). Although it's a great program, everyone knows UOAM is unmantained and won't support ML maps (unless you do a hexedit but it could be copyright infringement). With the update of PF, we will have also another facet: Ter Mur, a facet which UOAM cannot consider. To supply these missings, the Stratics community made a new program called UOCartographer. vboards.stratics.com/uhall/168538-uocartographer-beta-new-uoam-%5B0-9-8-0-dec-17-re-read-op-first%5D.htmlwww.uoforums.com/uo-general-discussion/70663-uocartographer-beta-now-available-new-uoam.html"UOCartographer (aka UOC) is a free replacement for UOAutomap. It's features include support for the new lands of Ter Mur and compatibilty with the Enhanced Client (EC)." Moreover, it has 2 nice things: - full compatibility with UOAM markers (.map files) - nice bump-mapped map I have used it since I first came in PF and it always worked flawlessly, and due to the ML/Ter Mur support I strongly suggest it over uoam. Website is: www.uocartographer.com/Let me know your comments!

Yeah so I got this. Yes it works as far as a mapping program. I loaded the two tmap hunter .map files for PF in there and get this: Issue I have is it doesn't show the label unless I highlight over it (ie scavenger hunt), and everything is a gold pile. That and I can't find in the application where to edit these or change the display. edit: Otherwise it works really well and it's not a hog like UOAM was loading up.

That and I can't find in the application where to edit these or change the display. You could do it in 2 ways: 1) Rightclick on a "goldpile", do Edit Marker and change category. Then quit UOC and open with a text editor the .map file that label belongs, and to the same edit "manually" for all of the labels (that is, changing category for everything) 2) open icons.bmp and change the gold pile with something else. I agree UOC has a not really good label management system compared to UOAM.

If anything I would just like the icons a little smaller. At this zoom level it's hard to tell where they are when they're close to each other. I will try to edit the labels and then edit the maps.

I am curious of your outcomes Smithloc.
Though i personally do like the gold piles. I am still using uo treasure hunter to tell where a treasure is and if i am not sure i switch to uo cartographer zooming in on the region i located the treasure to get the correct location.
What i like is the directions in uo cartographer. North is to the top and not to the top/right like in uoam, which makes locating maps easier especially the lot of custom maps around yew which i found to be most difficult to locate with uoam.

So I edited the icons.bmp file, changed the "other" marker. I then set one of the labels to other and edited both treasure and treasurex.map files. I simply replaced "TREASURE" with "OTHER". You could use whatever icon you want but this is good for me.

Just what I was looking for. Any suggestions on using the 'HotBar' in the enhanced client?

no idea, I don't use EC... Anyway, I'm bumping this due to this thread: vboards.stratics.com/1523641-post384.htmlthis link features a download link for new UOC labels (like Ter Mur ones but also others like ML dungeons, mining places...) and new icons
