Anyone have any suggestions as to how to stop my game screen from flashing when it is in full screen mode? It is driving me absolutely nuts. Using Win 7 btw.
Thanks, Crux.

Do the following:
- rightclick Razor shortcut, --> Properties --> Compatibility
- Click on "Execute program in compatibility mode for..." and choose WinXP SP3 - And, check "disable themes" and "disable window compositing"
edit: if what's above is still not sufficient, check also "Run this program as administrator"
Hope this helps

The changes to the Razor shortcut didn't help in my case, Daedalus. It was a good shot though. Forcing a size changed worked great though. Thanks Velda!

Easiest way is to just use classic theme from your personalization window from your desktop.

Had to deal with this myself for the update, so I'm sharing my success. For anyone else who might have this problem later, Daedalus gave the right options but the wrong target. client.exe in your UO folder is what you have to work with.
"Disable desktop composition" will make it so that your desktop switches to classic view when UO is running, and will enable Razor to put all your counters and such in the title bar.
XP compatibility will stop the "flashing" game screen. Near as I can tell, Win 7 seems to not like UO very much and will detect it as 'not responding' for a split second. Running it in XP compatibility halts whatever conflict Win7 and UO have.
It's also worth it to set both Razor and client.exe for "run as administrator." For the short time I had UAC on, Razor wouldn't save my hotkeys and macros because it didn't have the authority to alter anything in Program Files. I guess we should feel good that Windows 7 is so secure that not even the user can do anything to it...

Aero theme causes flashes, simply disabling it will fix it. If you really want to use Aero, use the steps described above
