You may wonder why you don't see many of the critters you are looking for, such as Brownies or Phoenixs. This is a little education on how many of the critter spawners work.
Just for the sake of explaination, let say a spawner has five critters listed on it like horse, dog, cat, sheep and goat. Let say the spawner is set to spawn 5 critters. The five critters spawned will be random from the 5 critters listed. You may get 2 horses, and 3 dogs. You may get 1 dog 1 cat 1 sheep and 2 goats. You may get 5 cats. It is random. If you are looking for sheep and you kill one, a new critter will now spawn to fill the vacancy. Will it be a sheep? In this case it has a 1 in 5 chance of being a sheep again. So if you only kill the sheep in the world, the number of sheep respawned will go down. If you kill all 5 of the critters around this spawner, the odds of a sheep will be 5 times 1 in 5.
So, if you want the odds of a certain critter being respawned after you kill one, you need to kill off the other critters in that same area.
People are hunting for Brownies right now. You need to kill the wolfs and cougars and goats and bears and eagles and pigs and boars and all the other critters in the general area so the odds of respawning a Brownie will be higher.
So lets get out there and rid the world of all the usless critters so we can see more of the ones we all want so very much this month.
Happy hunting!
