The Citadel is one of the new dungeons in the ML release. Entrance to the Citadel is by way of a small magic crate located near the small dock South East of the Volcano on the Tokuno Islands.
Once you enter the Citadel, you will be greeted by many Ninjas. Some are powerful fighters and some are powerful mages. The Citadel is riddled with hidden passages. (hint: when first exploring the Citadel, use Circle of Transparency, so you can see the hidden passages in the walls.)
The Citadel has many Deadly Spike traps. And I do mean DEADLY. You may well survive stepping on one of these traps but you will not survive two. (hint: move slowly through this dungeon. If you step on a trap, stop in your tracks. heal yourself completely before taking the next step. There is most likely a second or third trap.) You can avoid some traps by walking close to the walls. Some traps can be avoided by taking a different route. Some traps can not be avoided at all. If you are exploring the Citadel with friends, which is highly recommended, don't bunch up running through the dungeon. If (when) the point players steps on a trap, you will now know where it is and then can help each other past the problem.
Presently, the only means of being rezzed is your friends with you or the wandering healer near the entrance. Once you are in the lair of Travesty, there is an Ankh.
Travesty is the Peerless boss of the Citadel. In order to spawn Travesty, you must first collect the 3 different keys from the NPCs throughout the dungeon. Grand Mage, High Executioner and Master Thief each have a different key to spawn Travesty. After you collect the keys, drop them into the Collector basket on the podium n the main room. This will launch a dark moongate that takes you to the lair of Travesty. The Moongate stay up for 46 seconds so you have plenty of time to get your whole party through.
The exit from Travesty's lair takes you completely out of the Citadel dungeon. So don't step on the teleporter pad unless you are ready to leave. Once you leave, you will have to collect the keys again to re-enter the lair of Travesty.
Travesty has very very high chance of dropping a 120 powerscroll. Good hunting.
As things change, I will add to this post. Please review this post now and then for upgrades to the Citadel Dungeon.
