So you've finally finished the one skill that you are proud of above all others, only to find out that the profession title from another skill is displayed on your paperdoll! Have no worries, it's easier to adjust this than you would think [and no this doesn't require putting all your other skills on soul stones either ]. Keep in mind with this however that in order for your desired profession title to show, it must be at least equal to your highest skill. First step is to go to your skills list and find the skills that are of the same value as your desired profession title skill is. Second step is to set the lock on those skills to locked position. As simple as that, it's been changed. You can use this method to check the various profession titles you can have and pick the one you like the best as well, just switch between which of the skills is unlocked. I believe the normal method of determining your profession title is that it simply goes by skill in alphabetical order. At least this way we have a little choice in the matter. Hope this comes in handy!

My archery is bonused up to 135, and though the skill is locked (real skill is 115), it still shows Legendary Archer instead of Legendary Scribe (real skill 120) .. when Swords was the highest at 130 (real skill 115) it did show Scribe ..

It's also alphabetical by skill name, Inscription would show above Swordsmanship if they were equal and scribe was unlocked.

Thank you very much DarkGypsy for the good instructions. I wish I had known that years ago when UO had it setup where you could gain strength by using 'Taste ID' while attacking a training dummy. At least I wasn't the only dexxer running around with the title of GM Chef over their head. I got over it.
